Labyrinth is the only game (from the list) that I haven't played.* I'll need to get it sometime.* Don't know if it's any good or not though.*

It's pretty dated. LA's first attempt for an adventure game maybe? Never played it myself.

*edit*
It was released in 1986 and only on Apple II, Commodore 64 and MSX (whatever that is).

I think I vaguely remember having read something about even earlier LucasArts games called Rescue from Fractalus, Koronis Rift and The Eidolon, but they came out about ten years before I got my first computer, so I've never played them, obviously. I'm not even sure whether they could properly be called adventures, really...

Thanks for the info Mdag.

I looked at your screenshot, and it looks very like Maniac Mansion grapics. The review at the bottom doesn't sound too bad.

Pity it doesn't seem to be for the pc.

Thanks. k:

What is the hype with adventure games? I never could understand how clicking all over a screen to get an item to move to another room and start that all over again was interesting..

*shrug* Well, I like them because playing them is a bit like reading. I'm a book person, really, so that sort of thing would appeal to me, I suppose.

I like reading, and I find adventures nothing like reading.. They take way too much effort..

Ts, shame on you :P

People find point and clicks enjoyable because they're mentally stimulating and they're games that you can play at your own pace. I really find it rewarding finally working out a puzzle that I've been stumped on for ages. However now days my grey cells are starting to really go grey.. and the temptation to look at walkthroughs is forever increasing.

*shakes fist at the internet*

my favorite game is Indiana Jones - The fate of Atlantis. I spent many hours playing this game in that time with my old 486 Sx.
