Hello there
I have exactly the same problem as described by several, even though I did configure DOSBOX the way it has been described...I have tried version 0.62 & 0.63 with the same result. Always the message comes up: "Runtime error 005 at 11ED:06CC" javascript:emoticon('  ')smilie |

need a hint here- I've put the fuse in and I have rope, a walknman, a hammer, a western movie,growth potion, a crowbar, moldy bread, matches, a small key,a remote control, and a stehoscope. What next?

You could try using the growth potion on one of the indoor plants. Also have you found the battery? It might prove useful in the remote control.

...I may be the most inept adventurer ever. I have the same inventory the Guest up there did, sans remote and battery, and I've put the growth potion on the plant and gotten the pumpkin. Where do I go from there? Better yet, how do I open the glowing door?

So what differs this 9MB version from the CD version? I have a friend that has the CD but i havent checked if the size is different allthough it seem like it is.

Only the intro and the outro (Alintro.cda (70,8mb) and Aliend.cda(39,1mb)) are missing. Both are pretty important in order to understand what's going on with the story.
