Guys...

Keep it ONtopic plz***
But aren't these topics meant to generate conversations? I mean, if you ask a whole bunch of people what country they come from, inevitabley, people are going to discuss issues between their respective countries - and what is the best form of competition between two countries? Sport! (because war is bad) [/b][/quote]

I agree, I'm sick of being told to stop going off topic when the topic can branch off into so many different other related topics, especially in this Blah, Blah, Blah Forum. It shits me. :ranting:

I think some flexibility on this forum is a good thing, especially when a closely related subject is raised. As long as the conversation doesn't become too heated or drift too far away for too long from the point originally raised. Gotta have some order

And in this case, sporting matches between out different countries is a related subject. Alot of the time, the question "which country are you from" is intended to generate discussion through which a person can learn the other's cultural perspective of the globe and share their, widening each others knowledge of how our world works today.

But in discussing what I think is I am beginning to get a little myself

Yes but it had to be said. Hopefully people will now understand, and not jump on the emoticon too early.
