Why isn't there just one button, if the pushing all the combination of buttons is really just smoke&mirror?
1. Most (but not all) games can be started by dragging needed file onto DOSBox icon. It will automatically execute for you this two commands:

mount c [gamepath]
[gamename]

i.e. if you'll drag game.exe, it will automatically start it. If you'll drag GAMES dir, it will mount GAMES as C. If you'll drag D:\GAMES\SORCERER\SORC.INI, it will mount D:\GAMES\SORCERER as C and will give you the error "cannot start SORC.INI".

2. Use Ykwong build (Yay! Ykwong is alive! New, 2015 build! I was worried.) It gives you windows menues, invaluable for the mounting CDs and floppies.

JPEG is invaluable when you need to stick many info in the little size. Like on this forum.

If I need to preserve full info in the minimum space I am using PNG too.

Probably that error is caused by a pirated fallout 3

"Invalid partition table!" when booting

If you use BIOS+MBR boot method and msdos partition table, the BIOS may show this error message before entering Syslinux or other boot loaders. To bypass it, press Enter. To prevent it, put the "boot" flag on a primary partition (instead of a logical partition). You may refer to the wiki page of your boot loader to see how this works. It may be a "kindly reminder" to Windows users, since Windows can only boot on primary partitions.

1. Attach your failed HDD to your WinXP.
2. Check disk. If it's alive, chances are, you really did something wrong with partitions/BIOS/disk types. (You didn't mess with BIOS recently, like, touching this sensitive UEFI, or SATA, or something settings?).
