Hey guys!
I was surfing the site, saw it and downloaded it, kicked it into my D-Fend Reloaded and shooted some aliens! Until I noticed something... Why does a 1978 game have Sound Blaster support? I did some more resarch (MobyGames.com) and found this game in the Space Invaders clones section named by Invaders 1978. Classic Retro Games has it listed also here! Seems like the release has to be corrected in some cases like the year being 1996. It was released and developed by "James Eibish" and originally mail ware that became freeware later.
