I wouldn't say so, but the again, I was in the exile from the main forum :amused:
Don't know how closely you've followed it, but some importaint members would have left alltogether were it not for the dissidents. There really was a lot of bad blood between certain people... Some cooled down, some left, some started out new and the site gained by not getting rid of them. Were it not for the dissidents, there might not have been any updates in a very long period and it's quite easy to see what no game updates does to the site... also some of most reliable people who work(ed) on keeping the site going were in the dissident group. So I think it would have been better if the dissidents wouldn't be needed, but the way things were it was probably really the best possible solution. |

@ Sebatianos - I don't think that it was best possible solution, but short term move of the problems it certainly was.
@ Romano - thank you for the link. |

Well, Seb, I wasn't a regular user at the time, but there's a big archive on Mod space and I've read many things, however
I don't give much importance to those old facts now. I'm always glad to see new and old members here |

He can't. Something about an oath of secrecy and Cthulhu eating his brain if he breaks it.

Hmm, you seem to have been quite around back then. I still can't tell who you might be, Rogue, but you seemed to know who I am (in that one early post) anyway, whatever your sources. Well, there's not much to tell from just a new nick anyway, so I'm sorry if I couldn't get who you really are (I still don't, if it matters)

Well, I guess he only told a handfull of people, and just like none of the people (well at least I didn't pass the info around, don't know to whom else you've said it) gave out your real name, so noone shall give out his (unless you both wish to post them yourselves in the real name topic).
But it's good to know the old members, who still haven't lost their charms (I just hope you lost your sting and there will be no more fights... right guys). That's a part that really better stays in the past. |
