bah i remember i used to trade with lots of members... i wasnt even a member i bought feathers at the port for 2 gp each until i had 10k of them then sold them for 10 gp each quite sad that the members actualy bought them off me

Make no mistake this game would be better if it wasnt a daycare centre for agressive preteen a-holes.
The game is also limiting and not very exciting.

1: its free (sorta)
2: its stable
3: it doesnt take a super computer to work it
4: you can kill other players
5: people cant hide and kill u while hidden so its good for like relaxing killing of other humans

bad points
1: adult community shrinks all the time
2: the censor is so restrictive its ridiculous
3: leveling up in any way other than killing other players is boring and repetitive
4: fps quests suck donkeys (hey lets walk around the world again, and again, and again )
5: no alighnment system
6: a.i is pathetic
7: leveling up skills is just ridiculous and a lot of quests require minimum skill levels
8: fps worlds are non moderated wheras the moderation you get on the members world is borderline on ridiculous

why the hell do i still play that game. (probably cuz my machine wont take wow)
ahh well if anyone here is ever up for a pk sesh i got like a couple of level 30's a level 51 and a level 75 (dont pk with that 1 tho, its impure ) i had other chars but lost the passwords. which is annoying. ahh well.

Runescape is not totally free, there are two versions.

what got to me and a freind about the censor

1: cannot say gay or homo but can say pederast, shirtlifter, bumboy ect ..
(i asked a gay freind if he would be more upset if someone called him gay or a shirtlifter, he said "well i am gay, why would i have a problem being called that" )
2: cannot say nazi, but you can say jew... so you actually get people dissing people for being jews and yet you cannot call them a damn nazi...
3: in fact you cannot even say damn anymore ....
4: minor typos will often result in censorship becuase you put letters together by accident that could maybe be an abbrv of an insult ...

altho it doesnt bother me so much, at the end of the day you can devestate people without using *naughty* words per se, my fave on the wildy borders if people were dissing me was "you get your daddy hard at night and he likes it" altho i havnt used that one scince some1 who i was trying to goad into a fight while on one of my noobs with a barrage of acusations of pederastical incest said "my dad is dead" ( i ended up becoming freinds with him and helping him out with loads of free noob stuff i felt so guilty )

censorship is annoying tho. they censor out the word d1ck but you can still say nob. is some1 walking around saying "i have a 12 inch nob" less offensive than someone saying "i have a 12 inch d1ck"?

altho i know from chattin with a mod on the issue that the censor is more there to protect the adult population (altho its also to protect jagex from getting sued) as back when it was less censored the kids would just use it as an excuse to use the kind of language that would get them a clip round the ears at home.

I never talk like that so I never tried it. It would be quite infurianting to be insulted and sworn at IN LEET, and be able to respond without using it to.
