Scorpion was always my favorite. Best fighter for me however was Rayden, hands down. Easiest to control, easiest moves to remember.

I actually wrote a pretty decent guide to MK's confusing storyline. I'd post it up here, but I don't think it belongs here. So, if someone can tell me where I can post it up, i'll do so.

On snes there is umk3 where u can netplay.
I'd kick anybody's a$$ with Cyrax - he's unbeatable.
Scorpion, Sektor and Cyrax hands down.
