I barely remember this game - my best friends dad was playing it while we were stuck on KQ5. Anyways, now its addictive as hell but I'm really having a problem with the loading. It started out quick, but now as the game progresses it's taking really long to load in between turns. I literally can finish a turn, and go outside to smoke and come back to find it still stuck between turns. Is there any way to speed this up??

Got that too. Once ate breakfast and had a shower during one loading time between turns :blink:

Geez, a shower and breakfast?!? Exactly what kind of system does Dosbox emulate? I played most of the games on here with a Packard Bell 386/25Mhz. It was my first PC with a CD drive. Is there a way to speed up Dosbox? I like this game but I just can't play anymore with it being this slow.

Anyone know a solution to this problem??

Ok, I have a little problem with this game, since im running on an old, old computer that only supports ehrm... 16 colors, I cannot run DOSBox soo.. is there maybe another way to get around the fact that the game asks for a cd?

I'm trying to run it in Windows 98 on a pentium 233 laptop, but it keeps asking for the CD. Anybody know how to get past this?

its says:

Dont load Mscdex

I have the same cd problem too, but if it runs that slow, nevermind then. It sounded like a great game to me, I really like games with vikings and the asatru religion.
Mastergrazzt, be carefull with worshipping Odhinn, his followers mostly die a violent dead because Odhinn needs fighters at Ragnarok. Personaly I wouldn't mind dying a violent dead if that would take me to the hall of the fallen.

Love the game, but when I try to save, it says it will not save if the cd is not installed. Can anyone help?
