@ Stobe: My avatar has nothing to do with my religion...I just happen to think the picture is really freaking awesome and decided it would make a good avatar. I mean, I had a bolt of lightning splitting a tree in two before...how does that tie into religion? I chose it for it's design only.

I still stand by what I stated early about the laws of physics, science, and historians. For some reason, a lot of people seem science and religion to conflict, but I believe Religion simply tells WHY something happened, and Science tells the HOW. I don't know how God (believing there is one) created the heavens and the earth and everything, maybe it was the big bang, perhaps evolution, maybe it was God playing around with a pencil and paper. I don't know. But I believe there is too much evidence that there IS a God, to deny his existance.

Edit: Ooo! Ooo! Who's the other LDS person?

Can a mod or someone take off the second Protestant from the poll? I just realized I stupidly put it on there twice.

ROOT BEER!

edit--- are you in or near Oakland? The Mormon Tabernacle choir is going there to sing, they are so ...beautiful and perfect, it's delicious. If you get the chance(and you're in the area), you should definetely see them

sorry if it's kind of for everyone else

Looks like another Mormon has joined the scene. I like to think of myself as a more liberal religious person. My parent's are from different religions (dad is Greek Orthodox), so I got a bit of both. But, I did go on a "mission" for a couple of years, which was a pretty amazing experience.

@Ajax: Where'd you go? My brother just recently got back from Estonia, and my other brother got back from France about three years ago.

I thought I would add that I'm a christian. I've been brought up in a christain household, and that is what I believe in. I don't want to get into arguements or anything, because I know they don't help anyone. It's interesting reading other people view on life and god.
