Abandonia's verison of Discworld 1 requires to be confessed a lot more complication then the average guy is used to.
I digged out the old HotU version (well, according to the archive's name 1253.rar, as no other indication I found amongst it).

Within this archive is SummVM to run in the game, what has full sound + speech.
When I compress it, it ends up ca. 176 MB (slightly less then 390 MB without compression).

Might worth to consider including that version (the new HotU no longer has it).

If it is that simple to run it, then it might be useful to add it even as extra. Let's see what others think.

I would like to see it on site if it was possible to upload it, but are there any rules prohibiting us from letting people download ScummVM stuff, or is it in this case is just an alternative to DOSBox?

It is simple to run: you start the SummVM (included in the archive), add it to its playlist, then hit "start game".

And as Abandonia offers ScummVM to download (check: services/programs), I see no problem with the format.

I have a working copy of Siege of Avalon's Anthology version (don't have to install by chapters, but all is in one CD-image of less than 400 MB).
For the ISO-zone, if the game is not protected.

EDIT: I confirm all chapters work under Win7, although the intro and the outro works not. The intro can be tilted manually before the first launch in the options. The outro can be a problem, best would be to remove the videofile if it can be identified, as the program never "liked" Alt-Tab (causes lag, or freeze, although task-manager can shoot down the program still).
