I don't have the time to get sick. But I have injured myslf hundreds of times. A more painfull one was during the summer:

I was doing some construction work to make some money (working on some leaky condo downtown), and we were putting on the Tyvek paper with Hammer tackers (pretty much a hammer that staples). If youve ever worked with a hammer tacker, you'll know that you've gotta hit with a lot of force to get the staples to be flush with the sheathing, so that the Hardy-plank guys behind u dont have to flush them up.

Well, we were behind schedule, and it was enar the end of the day, so we were really trying to hustle to make the deadline. I don't know why I was trying to go so fast, but as I was smoothing the paper out with my left hand and tacking with my right, I tacked right over my hand. Now, if this was just the staple in my hand, it wouldn't have been so painfull. I hadn't noticed how hard i was swinging that tacker untill I hit my hand because I ended up with my finger being broken in 3 places ( I hit it right on the knuckle) and a staple all the way into my finger...

My middle finger nail fell off a week later and I still have dried blood under my nail.

EDIT: Oh and when the frist aid guys saw it he said he might have to 'drill the nail' (this consists of drilling into my fingernail with a red hot drill bit to ease the pressure of the blood). When I told him to go f*** himself he wasn't drilling sh**, he backed off.

Just be sure to not become too dependant on her, so you will stay your entire life by her.

I came very close to passing out. Cold sweats, blurred vision, almost puked.

Man, it sucked...

I have MANY construction stories, LOL. But they would take up far too much room...

My dad was a carpenter. Has gone through many things far worse than you have. For instance, he has cut off his thumb by accident.

It happens quite often in the industry.

You have NO IDEA

Seriously though, you're not the first to see the likeness, there's someone in my class who always hums the Harry Potter theme tune when I'm nearby because he knows it pisses me off.

I've been sick since 2001.
Its not a dangerous disease, just uncomfortable.
There is no real cure for it yet.
Basically it just makes me feel ill two or three times a month, the rest of the time I just feel tired and have pain in nearly all my joints.

I'm sorry to hear that Stroggy.

I don't often get sick or injured. But if I get really down-hearted (very rare) I can succumb to this weird ailment where I can't think and seem to become catatonic. It's scarey as it lasts for months, but I've always beaten it without medical help. Well, I did see a Doctor, but he was clueless.
