I liked the opening ceremony, seriously, fly-men running around a giant globe, and some dude 8 stories up in the air unrolling a massive pseudo scroll?! Yay.

I know there's lots of political baggage surrounding this Olympics, but of course, we only allow apolitical Olympic events.

I don't.. :amused:

But since I don't really like either...

I really don't need to pay attention to ANY of the Olympics..
(There is ALWAYS some political baggage)

I read what all of you wrote and can say only one thing...you are full of shit!

Not one single post about sports...shame. :eek:

China is the most powerful nation in the world and no demonstrations are going to change that, because their goverment won't take any crap from no one.

Olympics are all about being at top of the world, show that you realy want the gold, and believe you can get it...not this politics shit.

:worried: BranjoHello its a sad sad fact that politics and sport go together whether we like it or not..In a perfect world this would not be so..In a perfect world true athletes would not have to compete against drug cheats...In a perfect world the Olympic ideal would be intact..sadly it is not so...SAL

That's, like, total B.S.

Gah!- I think I missed some of the 'Gymnastics'. I'm really looking forward to 'Diving', so that should make up for it. - -;

Is anyone interested in any 'Olympic' sport in particular? List 'em. :laugh:
