Seriously, I don't intend to discuss too much on something I don't know about, but seemingly this guy --whom strangely enough I hadn't heard of before his death-- captured hundreds of crocs during his life, you can't say that he got lucky that many times, and the same goes for other animals. In fact he was killed by an animal from which he didn't even expect to receive an attack, I guess that stingray was a psyco fish or it had had a terrible day and was pissed off. :P

well if you have satelite TV check out the Animal Channel - he is playing there most of the time.

yesterday i swithced and he weas there riding elephant. when he saw a black snake. offcourse e had to immeddiatelly go off and try to catch it thinking it was a venomous black cobra. well it turned you it wasn't venomous snake. "little bugger tries to bite me. wow! look at his teeth..." bla, bla, bla...

anyway very insane and if i remeber he was bitten a couple of times by snakes, but they always had anti-venom near.

He'll be missed that's for sure, i watched a couple of his shows and i was a fan of his work, it takes guts to do what he did, and i confess more than i have.

I was lucky enough to live in Australia for over two years, in that time i met some wonderful people, and i think one of the most amazing qualities that they seem to possess, at least in my own observations, is they never seem to do anything halfway..it's either all or nothing.

My heart goes out to his friends and family and all the Aussies coping with it.

Wow, I heard on the news, that over 10 of the same critters that killed poor old Steve have been found butchered, supposedly by vindictive fans
Now that's inappropriate. These people do not understand why Steve did the things he did, if you ask me :wallbash:

Yeah, it's insane.

If you ask me Terri should go on television and go " Whoever is butchering these animals, stop it immediately. Steve worked his entire life to protect the Australian wildlife, a cause he died for. Stop destroying his legacy. You have understood nothing."

I mean, come on... :not_ok:
