![]() If the game does not run on your computer, you maybe should use a DOS-Emu.
I use this one: DosBox 0.63 And it works quite well with all DosGames |

![]() I d/l it and it says:
'Invalid Startup Directory, Check you PIF file.' I looked in the folder and there is no PIf files at all. What goes on there? I will try moving it, maybe that will work, i'm soo frustrated! |

![]() I had the same problem, your Autoexec.nt is messed up, I downloaded this little program that fixed it perfectly. Got to http://www.visualtour.com/downloads/ and download xp_fix.exe. That should fix the problem. Good Luck!

![]() About the PIF-thing... Have you tried running a cmd window, and then tried to start the game?
This method works for me. Of course, it might run quite as well using Dosbox, but why bother if it isn't necessary in the first place?

![]() I got the same problem but sussed it out. It works beautifully on XP:
Create a folder on your C: drive called Scorch Open and extract ALL files to C:\Scorch Go to command prompt from If you put all the files into a folder called Scorch on C: drive then go to command prompt (ie Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt) Get onto C: drive (ie cd.. cd.. etc) Get into Scorch directory (ie cd Scorch) Then type scorch Worked for me!!! |

![]() Scorched earth is quite good, but its not the full version? Anyway, perhaps we should try requesting BOMB! Not the same quality as scorched earth but good for quite a few laughs! :w00t:
