I also can't save in Return to Ringworld. I'm very sad. |

There's nothing wrong with having an older computer (BTW: I'm from Slovenia - so I understand the spelling problems - and many people here use even older and weaker computers).
Maybe you should try DOSBox. Do this: 1 - Download DOSBox (our site hosts a link to it HERE) - it's free. 2 - Install DOSBox. 3 - Extract the game archive (when you downloaded the game from the site). 4 - Make sure the unzipped folder is on your C: drive (and don't change the name). 5 - Run DOSBox. 6 - Type these commands: - mount c: c:\ <press enter> - c: <press enter> - cd ring <press enter> - ring <press enter> Hope it works. EDIT: Don't try to install the game - it's not necesary and it could change some settings you'll need. |

Also, if i don't install the game, it says that ring.exe is not a valid Win32 application
I've got the problem with win32 at almost al games on Abandonia. (I don't think my download is corrupted because i use a cable modem, which means that i don't use the phone for the internet connection) |

It's a compatibility problem.
I'm not sure about Win98, but I know Win95 had the possibility to run it in dos mode. When you want to shut-down your computer does it give you the option to restart in MS-DOS mode? |

Great! This game was made for MS-DOS so it should run normaly there.
Restart the computer in MS-DOS. Keep typing CD.. <press enter> (thats CD and two dots and then enter) untill you get only C:\ in the black screen. Now type CD RING <press enter> It should read C:\RING Now type RING <press enter> and the game should start. |

Actually, I was wondering...is there any way of getting a pdf of the manual to this game so that we can play it if we don't have the actual manual? I googled it and to no avail. I really want to play more of this game, it's really quite interesting.
