Prince of Persia was great, but I didn't really get fully into gaming until experiencing Doom. ...and then experiencing it again, and again...

Actually, that is a QBasic game. It was supplied with QBasic as an example program, and as I know it, it had no name at all, just the filename, it was Gorilla.bas
I remember that one! I found it unexpectedly while trying the QBasic. IIRC, there was a Hanoi Tower game as well... or was it supplied with Turbo Pascal or Turbo Prolog instead?

Mine was on C64. Actually it was my brother's computer and the first game he had was Ghostbusters (but it didn't work without a joystick - and he didn't have one yet). The first game that worked with the keyboard (so the first computert game I ever played) was:
The Return of the Phantom Karate Devils!
A real antique . When was this created?
BTW, looks nice.

:w00t: After i finally put the old C64 away I was getting around to the nintendo.
Man that was a HUGE step for me. Had to nag my parents about it for about 2 weeks before they gave in and bought me one. Most of my memories from that era had to be playing the Megaman series. Its still one of the games I simply cant let go as times have changed. The first game is still a favorite of mine and I play it from time to time. (Emulator though, was foolish enough to sell my nintendo when i uppgraded to Super NES.)
