Enough!

1)Music related: my guitar(requires no electricity )
2)I don't read books, and given the circumstances(exploring a dangerous island), i don't think i would need one
3)A knive and a box of matches
4)Water(the island might have drinkable water, or might not)

1. No music. Listening carefully to the nature surrounding you is much better option, than disturbing it with whichever alien sounds of music. And I don't intend to go crazy listening to one song for perhaps the rest of my life.
2. A big empty book, to have something to write notices to. Better said, for leading a diary. Reading a book over and over again would become deadly boring with time.
3. A well made tent to live in for the first time. And a good made, sharp knife, not too small. The one of Rambo would be fine.
4. Some larger amount of dried meat in case I won't be able to find other food for the first time. And simple water, or mineral water, rest comes with work.

1. Santeria by Sublime

2. The Count of Monte Christo, since it involves the main character escaping prison it might involve some helpful ideas on how to escape the island..?

3. A shovel so I can dig my way to the other side of the world and a large stack of Marvel comic books to provide entertainment during my digging breaks

4. Olives and beer- beer is good when you're digging holes in the sun. No wait- beer is always good

For animals... I'm talking about wild animals here. As far as I am concerned the island could be anywhere on the globe but I guessed that it would probably be tropical...

Isn't there lots of dangerous wild animals living in a tropical flora?
LOL It could be the island in Far Cry filled with Mercenaries and Trigens.
Oh, and several people, you don't have to listen to the same piece of music constanty, you could turn it off every now and then.
