Let's see:

Shadow of the Comet
Prisoner of the Ice
Call of Chtulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth
Alone in the Dark I
Darkseed

The first three are quite clear (licensed by Chaosium and all that stuff), the other two used some concepts from Lovecrafts works.

Does Darkseed and it's sequal count as two or one?

Not two that I had in mind. I know Darkseed featured some of HR Giger's works. What were the Lovecraft references?

Mmmm, now that you say it, I'm not sure if there are direct references to Lovecraft in Darkseed. Maybe it is more a matter of inspiration. You know, there this alien race called "The Ancients" trying to conquer the earth and so...

I guess I'll have to look for another game to complete the answer.

You nailed the Cthulhu deity. Don't forget about the others.

Hint: Shub-Niggurath, Deep Ones

Yes, I know. And also, there are plenty of games where books called Necronomicon appear. It is just that I can't remember them right now. :tai:

Edit: Wouldn't Day of the Tencatle fit the conditions? You know... a tentacle... trying to enslave mankind... Everybody knows Lovecraft had a strange fixation with tentacles!!!

Can't remember, did the tentacle have a name? Not what I was thinking of but you get the award for most original answer.

"Deep Ones" are also a name of an alien (or half-alien) species in X-Com: Terror from the Deep.

Right. Lovecraft wrote about the Deep Ones as amphibious ocean-living creatures that have a thing for mating with humans. XCOM also depicted them as frog like creatures. I have never played Terror From The Deep. Were they half human?

In what game do you have to defeat Shub-Niggurath?

Now I've also remembered that you fighted Shub-Niggurath at the end of the first Quake, along with some kind of final boss at the end of the first chapter that could also be taken from Lovecraft's works.

Lets see:

What is the name of a Japanese girl that comes out of a TV screen to kill people?
