One could say it came rather untimely.

Well the red card was also dubious, an eye for an eye, eh?

Tulac, who gives a rats about the card. Well since you brought it up, it was a professional foul, two-footed infact that deserved the red.

What makes me tick is the fact that bloody Grosso deliberately jumped over Neill's tackle which made it look like a foul.

What makes me even more angry is that we would've beaten Ukraine. I'm so over this World Cup.

Well when i saw it was a penalty i was : WTF?!

what's wrong with this judge? is he crazy or what?

he managed to ruin a perfectly good game. :-(

I knew something like that could happen. i was observing Italians 10 minutes before the end.. all the did was run close to penatly area and then drop down screaming in agony, sometimes no one was actually close enough to foul them. this should be seen by the coach who should instruct his players to mow them down in the middle. i know this sounds a bit unsporty, but still the only way to avoid mishaps like the one that happened.

If you saw the replay you can notice that it was actually the italian who fouled the australian then went by and threw himself over another Australian. Now if the first Australian mowed him down he would get a yellow possibly a red card, but Italians would get only shortened corner kick (=better then penalty) and Australia still had two substitutions available so they could get some fresh players in for the very possible extra time.

Just shows that the game sometimes requires some brains to be used. Something footballers often lack of.

This is no discussion. Absolutely, Portugal and the Netherlands was a match to remember.

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

Too bad that Australia was so cheated against Italy. I really think that Australia would go far. Because the other game was tragic. OMG, what was that??
