so there was a conversation between amiga and pc user and they agreed both game versions were exactly the same except amiga had "super advanced tv pixel blur" filter

AWESOME!!
Honestly this is the best out of all of em. Settlers 2 still had the idea and its not a bad one either so i recommend that one as well. But after that they started ruining the games complexity. Started throwing in hero classes and the building tree wasnt nearly as complex. And honestly i dont like having direct control over the soldiers either.
One of the most amazing RTS' of all time. Up there with age of empires and the original civilizations. Sad that as time goes on you have to revert to older games to get a true gaming experience. The gaming industry is devolving... I promise you a very unique rts experience with this game. Seems tedious at first but its honestly what makes the game. |

Im having a problem with the game freezing when i defeat an enemy castle....most frustrating!
Has anyone else had the same issue? |

Dosbox settings? What system do you have, and what error messages?

I originally had this game on Amiga 1200, and I completed all the missions (eventually)
 Then I discovered this site and was able to play all the missions again (quicker this time since I knew what I was doing). I now have a new computer which is Windows Vista and I downloaded it again but it tells me it won't work on Vista. Is that it? Can I no longer play my fave game?
