I seems to remember a game in which the goal was to take over the galaxy. By doing that you had to build planet "extensions" all around your planets to mine resource and build your fleet.

It was a good RTS game but I only played the demo.

Unfortunatly I just can't remember the name of the game.

i dunno, i didn't think it was cheating, the list is quite comprehensive and there is a good chance that the movie is not even there. But, alright, I'll remove it. To tell you the truth I read over the entire list and I did not find anything that sparked a memory. Sorry if I offended anyone.

Wait wait wait a second. efthimios, is it ANY star wars game, not "the original vector graphics game" (whatever that may mean). Like, the platform the game was released on, maybe some themes or things you can do it in that are interesting and different, or maybe a game company that developed it... In any case, it can't be Star Wars because it wasn't really inspired by a book (at least i don't think it is). The other point remains - please give us more hints.

holyman you are on the right track, at least thinking-wise. It is not ANY Star Wars game, since you asked me. Originaly you asked me if it is Star Wars, so I replied with that thinking that it would give a hint. As you said none of the Star Wars games could possibly be.

It was released for Windows PC just a few years ago.

It has some very nice (for its time) graphics, though some people did not like them at all. (minority I think) The game has/had horrible support from its publisher, something that that publisher is not exactly strange for.

Well, it sure takes longer than expected.
