Happy Birthday... um... er... yeah. Just got on my mind that I don't believe in religion. Hmm... this is another brick in the wall, Chaotic... ooops, I mean Chatolic church "invented" Xmas, to use it to lure ppl into the Church, that's disgusting.... But I like the Holidays, no matter if its for Saturn or Pluto or anybody
The thing is many scientists think that Jesus acually was born in springtime, somewhere around April.I dunno if its true or not, but interesting

If I've understood this completely, yes, the chistians did take the date for christmas from pagans, but the reasons are a bit more understandable.
Think of the early christians, when christianity as a religion was commonly hated and outlawed. They celebrated their holidays on the same days as the Romans did their celebration just to blend in so that they wouldn't be recognized and get killed. That was a bit more discreet.

For all the religions and alternative religions that exist, I think tolerance, even respect, should be shown in a public forum as remarks like the above can be seen as inflammatory and offensive.
