The *trick* is not to think about it with you full attention. It comes easier when you are doing something else at the same time. I was talking to a friend and somehow made it to Level 8 in no time. Love this game!

As a kid *cough cough* I played this game alot on my 286.
I just played it for the first time in 16 yrs and I did the first few levels without actually thinking, purely automatically. Actually strange that i knew i must go for that atom next, not knowing why. I never did finish it, but I never knew how many levels there were (now know there are 30) I'm sure I was close. Great game, nostalgic reasons aside! cheers trAJ |

It was a very nice game, which we played with friends on a PC 286 and later on 386 in the early 90's. It's a pity, that some other "education" games are not exists or not so nice... I also downloaded it due to nostalgic reasons.

Found a freeware remake of this game, called Atomic.
It's so old part of it's website is gone, you have to use your detective skills to dig up the old file. http://users.skynet.be/NightGem/prog...omic/index.htm then http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://...tGem/index.htm in order to find this: http://users.skynet.be/NightGem/programs/atomic.zip |

there is also a recent remake out there, that looks exactly like the original, but runs on new systems (and provides SAVEing ability, too):
