Hmm, it looks to me like Cedega requires to subscribe with them to play your games under their program in linux. Bad.

Wine is apparently free but the support for games is far far far smaller than cedega. bad.

If you can operate ubuntu (even if it's only to the point where you can install it) you ought to be able to master the basics of DOS - check out the DOSBox newbie's guide on here.

I have no problem with DOS. :blink: I used to use DOS well after Windows 95 arrived. I never liked Windows 95.

Anyway, just a small update. I am postponing this installation for a while because my laptop is in a very difficult position and it might die on me (over heating, old age, heavy usuage for days and using it as a tray for my food)
