Well I assure you I don't have the intention of flaming anyone. I'm just expressing my opinion, as I have learned I am openly allowed to do.

It would be a good idea only if the reason that the people where banned are also in this list. This would serve as extra education about what not to do.
On the other hand, it is a pretty hefty intrusion on privacy. The people where banned by the admins and that is their punishment for whatever 'crime' they committed. A ban-list would act as a second one...
So in the end, I'd vote against it.

Actually these forums are, as far as I can tell, the most civil ones I've ever posted in. I haven't witnessed any flame wars or name calling in any of the threads at all so far.

It is enough punishment for people being banned, no need to let others know of that, too. Imagine how they will feel when they show up again? Knowing that all knew of their banning, it would be even more shame for them that they didn't deserve.

Temporary ban. Some get banned for 5 days or so. Then they may return.
