Vanguard. Needed to be in beta for another 6 months or so. I do realize things are awfully buggy at launch, which is when I started (actually started in the 3 days before official launch), but this game had soo much potential and hardly any of it was there at launch. I ended up playing for 4 months or so and quit. Maybe ill drop back in sometime within a year and see how its doing.

Anarchy Online... freaking terrible game! I downloaded it, worst community ever. I tried to follow the tutorial to map coordinates... it didn't work. It said right click on my mission and it didn't do anything. Then I go on the forums to be called a noob left and right and not get any help. Then I go in-game and ask for help and I get called a noob even more...

MapleStory was very irritating to me. Just got repetetive in lvling, looting, and.... That's pretty much it!!

And PlaneShift... UGH!!! Terrible controls, very buggy/laggy, Tutorial is too confusing, and I pretty much couldn't navigate across a bridge without all the terrible camera angles making me fall off.

But the very worst part is the players...
For some moronic reason it seems that FFXI players prefer to play an online game without any chatting. Most of them are as silent as the grave, and a few have even gone so far as to threaten me with both being ignored and reported for talking in the "say" channel (channel where players within 50 yards han hear you). And that for asking where I could find the bank!
Even when grouping with someone you are treated with the wall of silence. From more than 10 hours of grouping totaled I've had less than half of what I've written here replied to my questions and comments.
Another thing about the players are their elitist attitude on the forums. It seems like they feel like a god-given gift to the online worlds because they don't spam like in any other game. *sigh* Weirdoes...[/b]

This is by no means restricted to final fantasy.
Chat tends to interfere with the limitless fun of farming the same monsters for 2 months.

What I've found in the MMOG's that I've played is nobody is into RP'ing anymore. They all talk "normal" when they do talk. Diablo 2 is the only one I've played where the other players are genuinely helpful.

World of Warcraft

Graphics kiddylike as for 8 year old girls, quests innovative as "kill 10 pigs and bring them here" so like after a couple of minutes, I was already expecting what the next quest should be
Worst of all was when I found the ingame auction browser was like ebay... I thought like, if I browse ebay in RealLife for cheap items and to relax I'm gonna play this, to browse in the auction for cheap items, then what's the matter??? I'm not going to get charged 10 bucks per month to browse on ebay.
