Some invaluable info on savingpoints and magic! (heavy spoiler)

1) you have 4 times the healthbar: green, yellow, orange and red.

2) you have more maximum mana when you are "older". When you use a sandclock, you get full regeneration of mana AND you get 1 more maximum mana (permanent).

3) The trader in A1 at the arriving point (from now on: trader) trades these:
- he gives knife for bowl (don't do this)
- he gives empty sandwatch for healing herbs
- he gives directionmarker for ointment

The merchant on temple's squere in A1 (from now on merchant) trades these:
- she gives healing herbs for empty sandwatch (don't do this)

All other trades are clearly told / not harmful / must have.

4) Saving points:
Imediatelly when the game starts save! This way if some bug occures you won't have to go through the intro again. No manaloss, as a full regeneration imediatelly comes.

When you get into the temple's sphere you can save whenever you want. In the sphere you have infinite mana.

In the shekandar temple (in the desert) in the sphere you'll have infinite mana, so save (to bad you can do this once only).

You get a full regeneration when you leave the shekandar temple, so save before you jump into the mining cart.

When you get back to the city from the shekandar temple you can save in the temple's sphere (but best to use it only once, as it becomes dangerous later as the shekandar who moved in is a prick). The lemur inside asks you to send the shekandar in, and when you do, the sphere gets locked - but at least you can cast eye of Jad Garul at the back of the Kronos-statue to gain a full sandwatch.

You can next save for free in the sphere of Vel Shubek.

Save next when you get to prison.

When you enter the guard's room, a save is advised (not free, but the area is long, so recomended).

When you manage to step through the Arch, save! I've found the Arch bugged, it let me only the 100th time through.

When you reach the lemur cave in the desert, a save is suggested (still not free).

When you reach the shore, save! You'll get a full regeneration soon.
When you pick up the timeshell on the shore, cast Veil of Nautilus DURING the cutsceen. This way the spell get bugged, and for that screen the spell lasts indefinite without cost.

You'll get infinite mana in Vel Shubek's sphere next time.

You'll get infinite mana in the Hierarch's sphere next time.

(more info later)

5) the use of the nautilus: it can destroy weak illusons (you'll still need Jad Garul's eye at certain points), and can open Arch for no cost.

6) immunities: lemurs are immun on timestop and invisibility. The hierarch is immun to timestop.

7) magic in shops:
- the lemur in the hekandar sphere sells: slow (you can buy this later too), sand to ash (you can buy this later too), Jad Garul's eye (cruical to buy), Grip of Kronos (blood good spell, I advise to get it).
- the lemur in the sphere of the temple sells cheap of salt (maybe it has a wider shop if you don't close its sphere in A3)
- first time in Vel Shubek's sphere the lemur sells: sand to ash, fastness, slow, counterspell
When you arrive back with the rebels, it also sells cheap of salt.
When you come with the rebels, you should buy counterspell at least.

And that's it. All other spells are for "free" (= don't cost sandwatches).

8) at the Rainbow Nautilus subgame I needed only 12 point (2*3, 1*5, 1*1) to gain a sandwatch (I think the requireent is score above 10). You can win infinite number of healing herbs, but only once you can get sandwatch, independent from your score. As you can bet healing herbs against healing herbs, it is easy to not loose anything here.
