EDIT: what'd you know? there is! except it's an alien invasion movie (or 'liberation from' to be more precise), and thus has nothing to to with the plot of the game.

Alrighty guys considering this is getting to be really hard let's work togather and gather up what we have. So, the clues that we are operating with are:

1. The game is based on a movie which is originally based on a book. However, the game probably did not come out with the movie, but rather was inspired by it.
2. The game is a few years old, but the movie is from late 70s, early 80s (as efthimios who was born in 1976 was too young to read the reviews).
3. The game achieved the same level of sucess as the movie, which wasn't critically aclaimed but is one of efthimios' favourites.
4. In the game you can play as three different people/sides, but the overall goal is the same.
5. The movie is the "10th cousin" to Star Trek, meaning that it may have some sci-fi/futuristic elements to it.
6. A subtle clue hinted that the game may be a "hybrid adventure strategy game" was the response to my guess if it is Dune ("Dune is a very cool hybrid adventure strategy game, but it is not the one" (bolding done for emphasizing by me)). However, this may be just me misinterpreting what was said, so take this clue with a grain of salt.
7. It is not: Alice, Dune, Dune2, Star Wars, Star Trek, AITD, etc...

Personally, I'm out of ideas, but maybe somebody else will think of something with all this info. Good luck guys.

Dang...the sci fi thing totally shot down my idea of Jurassic Park :tai: Ummm...hmmm, ya I dunno, Ok, this is probabally a lame guess, because I don't think there is a book but...whould is be an Alien/Aliens/Alien 3/Alien Ressurection game/s?
