If you didn't altered anything in the dosbox conf (sound settings) you'll have sound.

Full screen: alt+enter.
Cheers fella, I'll check which version of DOSBox I have...

o.o

Game won't even start for me! I'm opening it properly (at least I think it's the proper way...) through DOSBox, but all I get is a black screen.

Anyone know a solution? I really want to try this game out.

EDIT: I use DOSBox 0.72, by the way.

Thank you!

EDIT: I did some Googling myself, and came up with this...

''As a word of warning, Space Hulk (the original, not VOTBA) doesn't (as far as I'm aware) work on any PC with more than 24Mb RAM in (including being emulated in DOSBox), due to some really weird issue. The only way to get it working properly is with a genuine old PC.''

Is this information, by any chance, legit? D:

WHAT?
I just tested the AB game -(once again)- in dosbox 0.72, default install.
Works fine here.
Seems YOU screwed up your dosbox config.
Advise:
Reinstall dosbox 0.72.

BTW:

If you should give some details ... -(mount lines, how do you try to run the game, OS)- maybe we could say where it goes wrong.

Just need to ask!

I mount the oldgames (as it's called) folder (which is located on the C: drive), then I type ''CD Hulk'', then ''Hulk.exe'' It works with the other games. Using Windows XP, by the way.

To get into even more detail, here's the config file below (uploaded as a .txt file because it's needed to)...
Attached Files
File Type: txt dosbox.txt (13.9 KB, 454 views)

Mount and launch looks good, also the dosboxconfig.
So it comes from something else IMO.

Redownload the archive and be sure to unzip it correctly. There should be several subfolders in your HULK folder.
7zip is a good unzipper for such stuff.

[Edit]
BTW, why is your dosboxconfig file doubled?

Aha, I see where it screws up.
In your dosboxconfig your cycles are set 'auto', lower CPU cycles with CTRL+F11 before you launch the game.
Or set CYCLES=5000 or so in dosboxconfig.
That will solve the problem you have. ( I hope ....

Ah! I will try it right away.

Brother. I feel unfortunate to need to say this, but I fucking love you. It works now!

Thank you.
