Isn´t the grail on the painting from Henry Jones` house?
I always thought so. But I must admit that I never finished Indy3 so I might be wrong...

An image of the true grail can be found locked in the vault of Castle Brunwald.

Indy did a grail painting himself when he was a kid.

So how do these things connect? Find out playing the game, it's not hard!

Anyone who's too dumb to even get a f***ing CLUE about what the grail looks like, doesn't deserve to play this game.
That sounds a bit harsh. Even if you diligently kept track of every single clue in every adventure game you ever played, you can hardly expect everybody else to do the same and call their worthiness to play the game into question if they dont't. There's really no need to take this kind of thing quite so seriously. This may be a great game, but it's still just a game, for God's sake.

No, Guest2005. You were not just trying to help.

You thought you could show off how you 'beat' this adventure, even though it is by no means very hard to solve.

Anyone who starts this game will already have the descriptions of the grail.
The grail descriptions are in the real grail diary! You don't need to memorize them, just look up the .txt or .adf when the time comes. All you need to limit these descriptions to two, is to fully explore the Venetian catacombs. Just keep exploring them and you'll find a room with the two descriptions.

That is... unless you pulled the plug first!

Oh, and Guest2005, showing off you beat a game as easy as this (it ain't no Monkey Island or IndyIV) is like showing off your Legos.

Bye now, don't overstay your welcome! :bye:

Oh, come off it, now, Microprose Veteran. You're not exactly being very helpful either. What's the point in picking a fight about such a trivial matter? Even if Guest2005 was boasting about his win, that's no reason to start insulting him. Stop it, please, or I shall have to report you.

Oh go ahead Raffles, do report me. One thing though: did you know you can download the grail diary from here?

Not the in-game, virtual diary you know, this one came in the box with the manual.

Ah, now I know what got me to react in the first place:

He (guest) is spoiling the game for those who haven't played it yet!

Sure. But incidentally, I last played the game ten years ago.

As for spoilers: nearly all the game discussion threads are full of them, so I fail to see what was so bad about that particular post.
