I hear most or less everything.I am "radio" guy(that mean I prefer listening to radio than to specific bands).But some of them amazed me enought to buy their album.I think I can count them as "favorite"

I like all sorts of music... Except commercial pop and trance. Boy, I hate trance. Guess I'm pretty flexible there... I even like russian folk music . It's so awesome. Rock is a little classic, I dig that canadian band "Godspeed you! Black Emperor", I think Bertine Zetlitz is pretty awesome, and I can listen to classic music without being bored to death.

I suppose "band" is a group of people that makes music? My friends here in Germany introduced me to some of, like they called it, "classical rock". It's quite original and melodical, though far from perfect. I liked mostly music of "Queen" and "Pink floyd".

There's only so much you can cover with "etc etc" and that list's a bit ecclectic for it I think! I'm not a nightwish fan but I also own CDs by most of the others (no metallica and I've not got any Moloko yet - in fact I'll rectify that right now while I order the new Beck album).

@Nijya - the name for that is "Prog," and apparently it's making a bit of a comeback, you'll be pleased to hear.

Don't hear a lot of my favourite bands on the radio, it's all mostly top 40 stuff, which I loathe, and a lot of rap.
