Awesome Game
Awesome Game!
My biggest complaint with it is the footpad encounters. They can kill you, and it's mostly up to chance. Save first! I wonder if Roadwar Europa, the sequel to this game, is gonna be put up soon. I wish I could see a manual for Roadwar Europa. |

The game has been approved - but we need the archive and a review with some screenshots in order to put it up for download.

I can do review soon as well. But I have no manual for Europe. But you can use this manual, commands and vehicles are the same, and so is gameplay, there are just few differences.

To get gas, you loot, it is easier to find in bigger cities and also easier to find in areas like texas, where oil wells and such are in real life.
It's not a good practice to leave town with just a single car with gas, really you need some buses or trucks to operate as a tanker, because gas stations on the open road are a lot of times, not available or empty. Carefully monitor how much gas you need crossed with how far you need to go, especially if you are going to or near a zombie city. definitely bad to be stuck there.l |

to anyone interested, there is a commercial remake/spiritual sequel called road gangs, sold for 20 bucks at http://www.blackwatergames.com/roadgangs/
it seems to be good genuinely close to the original idea, and still poor in term of graphics despite the huge tech gap, anyway well worth the try |

that should be more like 99 cents, like the poor apps on the app store.

I've been having a problem with this game. I'm playing it on PC using dosbox. Whenever I interact with the rabble, wait, or send an envoy, I can't read what happens because the text goes by super fast and then just says I died or someone wants to join me.
Is there a way to adjust the speed? I've heard that there is a version 1.2 but I can't seem to find it. Would that fix the problem? I have tried the abandonia one and several others, but they are all version 1.0. I really want to play this game, it looks like such a classic gem. |
