Ah the joy of retro gaming on a laptop .....
You always could try to remap the keys using the excellent dosbox key remapper utility. Hit ctrl+F1 to launch the key mapper. (Don't forget -as you are on such crappy thing- to enable the Function keys.) For more details how to use the keymapper : dosbox 'readme'.

Ooooh, why haven't I tried this one earlier. It's great!
Though, forgot to buy defence the 2 first time and got blown up pretty quick. :/ Oh, and to add for the Copy-Protection Answers, just found a tiny, tiny spelling error there. Page: 17 Line: 1 Word: 2 Answer: CONTRE <---(CONTER) |

Opss! My bad, seem to be neither of them.
Tried Contre 2 times, didn't work. And umm... the game sort of froze on Conter. |

There is a bug with the Abandonia version of Transarctica. The game prohibits the player from scrapping any Tender wagon, even if they're destroyed and/or unused. This means you can't get rid of destroyed Tender wagons. On some occassions (ie. fights) the game appears to assume you lost your only tender, even if you got some spare ones. This will leave you with an empty storage.
I took some time to play around with the save game of Transarctica, and found the location where the game stores your train configuration. If you suffer from this bug, get a hex editor, and load your save. In my game the train config begins at offset 3023h. Look at this location for any entries that look like "15 03 00", and change them to "15 00 00". This will repair your destroyed Tender wagons, and you won't lose your Tender contents (as long as your Tenders stay intact. |

Hello guys.
I've got a problem with Omsk and questions I was asked ain't fit any of those words and lines U've posted. I'll post here those following, because those appears all the time and I hope that U, Tom Henrik Aaberg know the words. Pretty please for any of those: word 1, line 3, page 4 word 2, line 2, page 6 word 1, line 3, page 13 word 1, line 3, page 8 word 1, line 2, page 23 word 3, line 4, page 14 word 4, line 2, page 11 word 1, line 2, page 16 The first one (1,3,4) appears often. Sorry, but I can't handle it myself Last edited by SirNICK_; 21-01-2010 at 10:15 AM. |

It ain't working, man.
I had the same file before and I could bypass viking union copyright protection in garrison towns by pressing enter twice... but in Omsk it doesn't work. I still receive questions about those non-standard passwords: word 1, line 3, page 4 word 2, line 2, page 6 word 1, line 3, page 13 word 1, line 3, page 8 word 1, line 2, page 23 word 3, line 4, page 14 word 4, line 2, page 11 word 1, line 2, page 16 |
