Default I can't get the game to load under windows xp.

I can't get the game to load under windows xp. Can you tell me how to run it under windws xp please.

Try using VDMSound to run it.

Hey Hi to everybody. been wandering around over the internet for my favorite oldie pc game HOLIDAY ISLAND which i used to play back in 1999 alot. day in and day out sittin on the pc making millions of money. So i lost the cd in 2000 and ever since i missed this game until june 2005, i got it from much of the sites similar to this one like abandongames etc etc. But here we are that same news error that wouldnt let neither me nor you people play with your heart without any sort of interruption. So any one of you having a fix to this news and auctions problem in the game or havent yet figured anything out??? thanks.

Thanks friend and i got this game completely fixed without having to disable NEWS OPTION and music or sound options. Its really working no problems, all buildings are comin in and auctions working great too. The surf competition also working great without news coming again and again like its being stuck. so its completely fixed. Anybody wants it i can help.

No dosbox wouldnt run this game, coz i remember back in 1999 on my windows95 pentium 1 system, if i tried to play this game through dos it always said that this program requires MS WINDOWS. and so is happening with the dosbox. I know the fix to this game. a bit lenghty not that much, but could take nearly 5 mins... Anyone interested ???
