no sounds or anything. also when i use task manager to close it down, it already shows as not responding before i even try and close it...

if there were sounds i would guess you have problems with ddraw but like this i currently have no clue about what can be going on since i have exactly the same os and it works without any problems=/
you can try compatibility mods for older WIN versions when you right click the excutable (play with different settings)

edit: by the way, did you try switching (or from) fullscreen mode to windowed?

nope doesnt do the trick.

guess i ll have to do without unless you have any more suggestions?!

could it be somethin with my pc, seein as i used to be able to play games (eg Tachyon, Gangsters, Fallout) and now it wont let me play those exact copies?

well since you get errors on other games too maybe you d want to reinstall your drivers and direct x then :blink:

Try running those games in MS Virtual PC running Windows 95 or 98.
