![]() Ok, but what about that path in the bat then? It points to a CD in the D drive with the name KOM. It implies that if the CD in the drive, mounted or real, is named otherwise, that would result in a "wrong CD" error, doesn't it? Does the image file contains the correct name then?
EDIT: DOH! Of course it does contain the name! :wallbash: I just remembered my own ISOs and Daemon Tools. 2nd EDIT: Sezzubus: What exactly did you do with the bat file? If you changed the d: path, then just change it back again.

Your mount is wrong here. imgmount d d:\KOM_THIDNEY.iso -t -iso mount c:\games c: cd kom kom or komcd I guess the game expects (and looks for) the files/subdirs in C:\kom\ NOT in C: With your mount line game can't find a \KOM folder, only the files/subs directly mounted as C: MAYBE .......

![]() Just a stray thought: Try set the game up with NO sound whatsoever. You don't need to turn it of in the DOSBox config, only in the game setup. See if this makes any difference.

Tried that one matey. It doesn't have a no sound option at all, pretty much cuz the game is very sound focused I'm imagining. Thanks for the idea anywho! |

![]() OK, what we're going to try now is going to be a notch drastic, but seems like it's the only thing we can do without getting things mixed up worse than they were before.
Start by deleting the game from your HDD (the copy installed in C:\Games\). Now, create a "DOSGames" directory on your C drive (directly in the root of the drive). Open up your Dosbox.conf and go to the end (after where it says [autoexec] - the entire procedure is a variation on this). Add the following three lines at the end: mount C C:\dosgames -freesize 700 imgmount d d:\KOM_THIDNEY.iso -t -iso C: Save the modified config, start DOSBox, go to D: and install the game from there. See if that will work. |

![]() What you can try to find out if the ISO is valid:
download WinRAR@ http://www.win-rar.com/ (IF you don't have that yet) and try opening your ISO with it, WinRAR can open a valid ISO. Extract it to a temp folder, you may delete it afterwards. Just to know if WinRAR can extract it without error messages. It's not 100% proof that the ISO is good, but it's a fairly good indication. BTW: how big is that ISO? Maybe you can up it somewhere and PM me or one of the other guys where we can down it (NO torrents for me- rapidshare pref, I down a full ISO in 15 minutes there ). So someone can try things out. Just a thought, depends how eager you are to get that bit** running. *EDIT Try first what the_fifth_horseman says, you never know. He types much faster than I it seems .LOL *EDIT² Shush yourself_r.u.s.s., pirate. :bleh:
