Does anyone of you know Qntal? So far I only know the album "Nihil" and it's great, but the music is little unusual, compared to the well known groups from today or classic ones.

That's almost the same as to say that all classic rock is bad, as you got today new bands.

These new bands have a long road in the front of them to become one of these classic ones.

Andd there is a small matter called opinion...
yes, and there is a not so small called taste... and everyone knows that "o okusima ne valja raspravljati"

You're absolutely right. There's no point discusing the different tastes. Still, someone who listens to something different from yourself may show you something you'd like, but never even knew existed.

I listen to many kinds of music, but my favourite is the rock progressive from the 70's (like King Crimson, Genesis 'till 1976, Jethro Tull and Yes), expecially long suites like "Supper's Ready" and the rock opera "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway" (which I advice everyone to listen to) by Genesis, "A Passion Play" and "Thick As A Brick" by Jethro Tull.

Apart from 'em, a various bunch including Vangelis, Marillion, Edvard Grieg, Nirvana, Queen and many more.

One of the original Seattle grunge bands. A bit boring to my ears, but however... Led to such things as Temple of the Dog and Pearl Jam.
