Have you tried reading the FAQ up at the DOSbox main site, to learn how to use it? There aren't that many commands.

Just downloaded this game, looks great. I'll probably end up being best friends with the soviet union, is there any way to make it so that communism doesn't collapse?

My guess would be supply them with aid, improve relations, be on their side in any conflict.

That's the reason the game didn't get a dosbox compatible icon.

It always hangs there. unrelated to the sound settings etc.

Apperantly it works in XP (that budget thing)
Hence It's assumed the game is incompatible with dosbox.

Damn. Any tips on preventing Iraq from invading Kuwait? My CIA director says something about lowering Iraq's ambition rating or raising its Ethic rating, but pretty much all of the options that affect those two stats have abysmally low chances of success.

Eventually I gave upand started deploying troops in Saudi Arabia, but when the war started, it took forever to kill any reasonable number of Iraqi troops. So I got impatient and nuked them, followed by China and FRANCE's nuking of me. Ouch. :/
