Why did you give up your math studies?

One of my masters is in math, the other is in information technology
It was driving me crazy, I'm a more art/languages based person.

So, why you chose math studies?

Were you forced or masochist?

I was forced to stay in my homeland due to personal problems. Due to college restrictions (different specific areas and such), Maths was basically the only option in this university I could attend to (I used to like it). But now they opened Psychology, Arts and Literature so I'm changing k:

From my 16th year I am constantly working. (I graduated high school while working 3 days out of 7, and going in the school other 4, one of them from 7Am to 7PM)

I had small period of no work (war, first couple months in Germany), but soon I had a full and part time job. Same happened here in the States, where I work last 9 and half years, while I attend school at the night. (Working 45 hours a week)

If you are really looking for the job, you'll be able to find something. It might not be what you whish it to be, but having any job is better then no job, and doing something you don't like to do will just motivate you more to look for better job.

Hmm, speaking of jobs, here is a list of jobs I did in my life so far:
sales clerk, sales manager, store owner, bartender, construction planner, construction worker, machine operator (made parts for BMW), brake-press operator, welder, team leader (same company), IT manager, IT coordinator, network administrator, db administrator, programmer and right now doing everything in IT for current company.

Impressive list of occupations k:

I've only worked as sales clerk, cleaner, road worker, bartender, cold food cook (don't know the english term) and the job I'll be having this summer is sales clerk at a liquor store.

Then I don't believe this will be any problem for you.

It's just another job that will keep you busy.

I have another 5 classes to graduate... It takes a long time at this speed (2-5 classes per semester  )

Thats about $4-5 under the legal minimum wage (for your age) in Aus.
You sure thats not slavery?!

PS: @MdaG work permits in Aus shouldn't be to hard to get. plus picking fruit is as easy as it gets ( in Queensland). k:
