The Legacy - Realms of Terror
I am currently looking for find working copies of the games Elvira, Elvira II (Jaws of Cerebus), and Legacy: Realm of Terror.
I have found Elvira II (in French only it seems), and I have found Legacy: Realm Of Terror; although for some reason no matter what I do I cannot get it to run (what exactly is this 'dosbox' thing I see some people mention; and is that likely to help?). Any information that can be provided on locations of working copies of these games, and what you did to get them to run again would be appreciated. Thanks a lot >>>----Therumancer---> |

Dosbox is a program thgat emulates dos on your system, which windows xp no longer supports in its pure form. dos box lets you play just about anything made for dos. google the name, I can never remember the link.

Actually, dosbox emulates entire X86 computer including soundcard and GPU.
http://dosbox.sourceforge.net DosBox is likely to help, since your problem comes from trying to run DOS games on Windows XP. This combination almost never works. Altough - imagine my surprise when the ooooold Robocop 1 worked in pure XP - including that ****ing annoying Speaker sound... |
