It kinda looks like the cat is coming over your shoulder, without you knowing, in the position to pounce, you're just ready to turn around, but by the time you do... it's too late.

I think my dog believes that she's a cat... she sleeps.. alot.. She spent most of her time yesterday sleeping on the sofa... and its VERY hard to wake her up once she's asleep. Also, she sleeps upstairs on any clothes she can find on the landing. That means you can't move past her unless she wakes up.
She also seems to be able to take up anything between 2 1/2 places on the sofa and 1/2 a place.
