if you want a recorder, use can audacity
it can record, edit wav file,and it's a freeware. Google for it |

Yes, I have managed to rip it eventually. Any DVD seems to have done the trick as I ripped it without problems after installing it.
Alcohol120% does not have a rip function that I could find btw. Thanks for the input everyone.
