You can get different runes and cast spells depending on the gods that you have favor with. Ideally, you should try to sacrifice idols to all the gods and get favor with them. I think you can also get some other benefits.

Thanks for the info, I apreciate it. I guess I'm just gonna pick a couple of the gods and hope for the best.

The game does seem pretty cool, BTW. You can definitely see that it was made by the same people who made Veil of Darkness, although the graphics are pretty shabby in comparison. It didn't take me too long to get past the graphics issue, though.

Dusk of the Gods uses the same, albeit improved, engine as DarkSpyre, which is a prequel to The Summoning.

What kind of unarchiver do you use? The latest Winzip or Winrar should be able to open the file.

i use winace,which should be able to extract this file

Absolutely right! Viking's didn't have horns on their helmets, and another wrong thing about the box art (same mistake made in-game too) Thor's hair was red. Just want to say that
The mistake about the Aesir and the Vanir fighting eachother has also been settled
