![]() Well if your enemies have +15 on their attack roll, you better have high AC, otherwise you won't survive for too long.

An attacker's d20 roll + their attack bonus must be at least the defender's AC in order to hit. This is different from the 2nd edition rules (to be found in games like Baldur's Gate) where a low AC was desirable. |

![]() OK.
Another thing - I want to add proficiences in my game, but I don't know how to use them! In PHB only said that there are proficiences and that's all. But, for example, where can I read about what do they do? If I have one slot in Cooking what will it do for me and so on.

![]() Well it's upon you to decide, where would you use cooking in real life? The thing is D&D isn't a computer game where rules are strict, you as a DM decide for yourself.

![]() It means Challenge Rating. CR is used to determine what level should PC's be to be able to fight that character.

![]() SQ is Special Quality, I'm not sure about SR, SA is Special Attack. It's all at the front of the Monster Manual.

![]() I had such situation in my game. If one of your party wants to kill another, will he get XP? They wanted to kill him and resurrect and gain XP always. Had to be said, they in the end refused to do so, so it was a relief for me. But. If such situation occurs, what is general solution? Yesterday I thinked about not to give them XP at all.
