Problem solve.... i destroy the STD and leave the game going, after two hours all the B-wing were gone :w00t:

For some reason which I think is related to a DMA conflict in the soundblaster config, the game runs smoothly through VDMSound with digital sound turned off. I tried to change the DMA in the launchpad because the game's readme file says there is somethimes problems that causes the game to temporarily freeze when a digital sound is played during flight. But doing this, there is no sound at all now.

With DosBox .63, I have to put the cycles up to 15000 to mke it playable, but I still get jittery pauses especially when there are numerous craft onscreen and when I'm selecting targets. It could also be caused by my Gravis gamepad I've got plugged into the USb.

Could someone please help me?

I hope I have saved a lot of head aches. I totally agree with the unfairness of not being able to get these excellent classic games unless you pay about 30 bucks on Amazon (sorry but I'm not that desparate). It is a disgrace that the companies force people to buy these antiques that are not even worth a pinch of muck these days -I bougt Star Wars Jedi Outcast for only $9.95 at Electronics Boutique and it is only 3 years old!

WoW i just found this site, seems pretty conflicted sometimes but w/e. What does this DOSBox do? Is it flakey like a lotta programs like it are?

BTW for all you ppl who have the original release of it and dont have the passwords anymore I think I can help. I used to get annoyed with that passeord thing so one day i desided to just delete the file. it works fine without it. If I remember right, it was either a *.psd or *.psw file and it was in the main folder after install. it may have even been password. something.

Just a small idea - click on ESA protected games should lead to a web page which will clarify that games are not available, and that there is no point to ask about them.

The buy link changes and often those games are not available anymore. Or just another link for games on the left to buy?
