Well I havn't played this game for ages. I do know that there are quite a few differences to the Commodore 64 version of the game. Thats like withchoices you make and stuff, I forget.

To save, I'm quite sure you can. I know you can in the C64 version. Is it in the options screen (top left icon... from memory here... i forget)

Good game tho, I liked it aot.

Got it!!!!

Ctrl-S to open the save menu!

Sometimes there's nothing wrong with just hitting the keyboard until something happens! Not too hard though!

I don't get it.
It says its a life simulation, but basically it always tells you if you made the right or wrong choice.

Only after the choice has been made, so you don't know you've made a poor decision until you've made it.

But there is no such thing as a 'poor decision'

Alter Ego man can not work on mine and i cannot get to the buttons left and right of the tree+there is no main menu. There is an opening screen that flashes for a second or two even in DOSBox

What an interesting game. A lot of the stuff in here is more descriptive than you'd expect.

And surprisingly addictive, too.

Which file do I have to open to play Alter ego man? Every file I opened was just Alter ego woman.

hmm strange it worked for me. If you want to get to the buttons left and right of the tree press escape.
