The laptop if I remember correctly, is a Pentium-3 600mhz, so not too terribly old.
I tried out a couple LiveCDs and they worked fine, like Knoppix and DSLinux. I'm going to have to read on how to install them onto the drive. Are non-debian distros, like Mandrake, fairly easy to customize a "small" install as well? |
