I now recorded a couple of videos but i face some problems. Perhaps someone can help.

The capturing seems to work fine but when i check the videos i recognize two issues:

1. There are errors in the video regarding the graphics. It stucks and the pixels are not in the right place. The vid is a wild mixture of colours etc. for seconds. This happens only when played with VLC Player (latest version up to today).

2. In Windows Media Player the graphics are fine but the sound lacks. Theres a one or two second lack between graphic and sound.

I think its necessary two get good quality in both vlc and media player because you dont know which player is used by the intrested Abandonia YTC visitor. So my vids are useless for the YTC. Is there anything i can do to improve quality?

Btw, Is it necessary that a game i want to caputure is downloadable from Abandonia Website or is it all right if the game is just presented on Abandonia.com without the ability to download (i.e. X-Wing which is ESA protected)?

Please upload those videos for someone else to check. For all we know, the problem may ber only present with your particular codecs and software.

The game's status does not affect the videos - it can be protected, rejected etc and you still can upload video recordings of it.
