![]() Hello,
I can only say, there is nothing wrong in the track. It's a damn bug in the game. Why did the programmers even program it this way, why can't just every track be driven no matter if it's incomplete or something. |

Would you want to play a track that can't be completed? I certainly wouldn't. It's simply a security measure that prevents players from blaming the game developers on being unable to complete faulty tracks. |

![]() It's a difference between pointing out that something is "wrong" in the track and forbidding the player to drive it.

![]() Bumping this thread: I'm replaying Stunts, and have a few versions, all with different tracks. Does someone know which track(s) came originally with the game? "Default" has to be there or the game won't start, but I guess other tracks were delivered originally with the game? With the downloaded version(s) all kind of user tracks are included. I'd like to know which were the original ones that Broderbund included in the game when they sold it...

![]() Disk B: default.trk
Disk C: bernies.trk, cherris.trk, default.trk, helens.trk, joes.trk, skids.trk And I'm pretty sure that default.trk is the same on both disks.

![]() Hey all,
I was going through some old 5.25 inch floppies from my father's archive, and found a few with games. One of them was Stunts. But the disk was corrupt / partially unreadbale, and the only files that were still there were: - 4-DSPORT.BAT with the content: Code:
@echo off cd 4-dsport stunts - STUNTS.BAT with the content: Code:
@echo off cd 4D stunts echo Radical , Chombatta ! It was a cracked version for sure, but I'm looking for a distribution / release that also had the two BAT files included. The "Radical , Chombatta !" tagline might give an indication about what release or distribution this was? I know the "Red Sector" release is well known, but I did not find one with the specific BAT files included. What I also think I remembered, was that the "TRAINING" track was included on top of the standard included tracks. If somebody could help me find this very specific version, that would be awesome! I know the game itself stays identical (I have a few versions), but I'd like to "restore" that original floppy disc of my father with the exact same files, pure out of nostalgic reasons. (Hope this makes sense.) Thanks! |
